Scion Cider is a 21+ only bar in Salt Lake City Utah, opening in December 2021. The bar is located in the Central 9th area just next door to the popular Lebanese eatery, Laziz.
The idea bar is focused on hard ciders and offers a range of items from around the country and the world. In total the bar offers more than 230 selections on draft, in can and in bottle.
In April 2022 the bar secured a well deserved manufacturer license. This will allow head cider expert Rio Connelly – to craft cider on site. Suffices to same we’re really excited about this. You can see why in our first sneak peak here.
Scion offers a number of small bites, such as charcuterie and conservas but does allow guests to bring in food from neighboring restaurants such as Laziz, Central 9th Market and Nohm.
In early 2023 the bar was recognized as the Best Cider Focused Establishment in the Mountain West region. The accolade is given to the best and brightest amongst a dozen states (UT, CO, ID, WY, MT, NV, AZ, OK, KS, TX, NM, NE).
