Let me start by saying – barring acts of god – I guarantee your favorite restaurant will be open this February 14th. Heck, many would still pack the place out during a plague of frogs on Valentine’s Day. Suffices to say, if there’s somewhere you love, pick up the phone and book now – they’re gonna be open and doing brisk business. With that in mind, the following list comprises those restaurants that have announced something extra special for 2025.
Before we begin, go ahead and hit that bookmark button in your browser. The following list will grow substantially over the coming days. As and when restaurants post their deals and specials, I’ll be updating the collection on a daily basis. My advice: check back often, and reserve as soon as something takes your fancy.
For more inspiration also check out years gone past as well – 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2017, 2016. Further reading – our lists of romantic dining in SLC and fine dining in Utah.

Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC. I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have written in myopic detail about the Salt Lake City dining scene for the better part of seventeen years.
I’ve worked extensively with multiple local publications from Visit Salt Lake to Salt Lake Magazine, not least helped to consult on national TV. Pause those credits, yep, that’s me! I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’m largely fueled by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration and the use of big words I don’t understand. What they’re saying about me: “Not inaccurate”, “I thought he was older”, “I don’t share his feelings”.
