Franklin Ave Cocktail & Kitchen is a new bar/restaurant concept from the Bourbon Group; their past efforts include Whiskey Street, White Horse and Bourbon House.
The business officially opened on June 30th 2022 – you can read our detailed review here. The 21+ space located at 231 S Edison St. features a striking refurbishment of the 100+ year old building, once home to an historic theater. The restaurant features seating and bars over two levels. The name speaks to the original name for Edison Street.

Franklin Ave Cocktails & Kitchen – upstairs
Chef Matt Crandall oversees the food side of the operation as he does similarly at the other three Bourbon outlets. The menu at Franklin Ave takes the baton from White Horse then goes on a giddy global tour. You will find dishes and ingredient inspiration from Japanese, Thailand, Spain, Italy, the Mediterranean and much more. Keep an eye out for their house made pasta, and their always fabulous burger using Snake River Farms wagyu.

Licensed as a bar, 21+ and up only, means you an also stop by Franklin just for drinks of you like. The bar features an extensive selection of classic and modern craft cocktails, beer, wine and spirits. There are bars on the both the ground floor and the basement space, which we think is chic, intimate place to share a drink. Not least check out the exposed brickwork of the original, historic site.
