The Pearl – Greens amd mushrooms
The Pearl is a bar in Salt Lake City located at 917 S. 200 West (an area loosely known as the Central 9th). The new for 2022 business is owned and operated by some of the team behind downtown SLC’s Alibi bar, located on Main Street.
The Pearl builds on the success of that cozy cocktail bar boasting far more seating indoors; expanding to more than 100+ when the outdoor patio is open in warmer months. When the restaurant opened in 2022 we wrote this story about the excellent Vietnamese-informed menu.

Speaking of which, The Pearl features Vietnamese street food cuisine by local chef Tommy Nguyen (Takashi, Post Office Place, Rye) who leans into the cooking of his family and youth.
