Thanksgiving dining in Utah – where to eat in 2023

Urban Hill in downtown SLC

The clock has officially started ticking down to turkey time folks; and if the mere whisper of ‘kitchen duty’ sends you into a cold sweat, fear ye not, just turn to the pros for the heavy lifting. Below then is every single special Thanksgiving dining option I know of. Lavish buffets to simply plate meals through to options for home cooking – this is the most comprehensive list you will find in the state – or your money back.

Before we begin, go ahead and hit that bookmark button in your browser. The following list will grow substantially over the coming week or two. As and when restaurants post their T-Day deals and specials, I’ll be updating the collection on a daily basis. Check back often.

As a reminder, we’ve been tracking yearly turkey dinners in myopic precision for years and years. More than anyone else in Utah. You might say we’re obsessed. For reference and other ideas, you can see previous listings here: 2022, 2021, 20202019, 20182017, 20162015, 2014.

Note: all descriptions and details are either provided directly by the restaurant.

  1. Well, that is a nice list for the wealthy, primarily in greater Salt Lake Area. How about a common man’s list closer to Ogden.
