Turkey day is right around the corner folks, and this year, well I think this year is gonna be a busy one. Expect tables to book out quickly, shelves to get cleared out double quick. Remember those turkeys I told you to get your paws on last week? Beltex moved around 200 of the birds in less than 20 hours. Take note now when drawing up your plans. Otherwise it’s the McRib for you.
As a reminder, we’ve been tracking yearly T-Day options in microscopic unrelenting precision for years and years. More than anyone else at this point. You might say we’re obsessed. For reference and other ideas, you can see previous listings here: 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014.
Be sure to bookmark this page and check back every few days. This won’t be the final tally by a long shot. This list will continue to snowball over the coming days and weeks. We will be updating the page every day as more Thanksgiving news comes out.

Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC. I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have written in myopic detail about the Salt Lake City dining scene for the better part of seventeen years.
I’ve worked extensively with multiple local publications from Visit Salt Lake to Salt Lake Magazine, not least helped to consult on national TV. Pause those credits, yep, that’s me! I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’m largely fueled by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration and the use of big words I don’t understand. What they’re saying about me: “Not inaccurate”, “I thought he was older”, “I don’t share his feelings”.

Is there any that provide a Gluten-Free meal? One made with proper cross-contamination prevention practices would be nice.

Wow! Thanks for putting this together. Headed to St. George so wanting to bring a meal with me.
Check out Wood Ash Rye in St George. They have a dine in and take out option, adding to the list here momentarily!
Also check out the Chef Hog buffet I just added, also in St George.
Thank you for putting this list together. Our son lives in Salt Lake and we wanted to buy him a nice meal for the holiday. Some of these choices will be right up his alley!
Happy to help Tom, always let me know if you need more specific info.
