Sushi Groove
Sushi Groove is a Japanese restaurant in Millcreek, Utah. As you might guess from the name the focus here is sushi, available in a variety of formats. Creative maki rolls are the most popular, but sashimi and nigiri are served too.
The restaurant is owned and operated by Dave Ayala and Jeff Handa; you’ll find the former often behind the sushi counter, and the latter roam tin teh floor checking in on guests. The pair first met while working together at Go Sushi, the former Japanese restaurant that was located East of Sushi Groove on 3300 South.
The restaurant is open six days a week, closing on Sundays and offers beer, wine and sake. Be sure to check out the eye popping graffiti art from Los Angeles graffiti artist Caleb Aero and also explore the specials board that’s always changing.
