Aristides Boutsikakis was the former chef and owner of Aristo’s. The restaurant located near the U of U was much loved for its higher end take on Greek cuisine. The restaurant closed in 2019.
Following on from this Boutsikakis operated the Greek Tyrant ghost kitchen concept. This delivery only business offered a simple range of Greek street food options like gyros, delivered via services such as Grub Hub.
In this interview in 2020, Boutsikakis confirmed Greek Tyrant was part business, part exploratory project to help him better understand the ghost kitchen model, and build out his own commissary kitchen style facility for other would be businesses.
