First things first, lets talk about Utah liquor laws, what exactly are you going to get for your mimosa dollars here in Salt Lake City? Firstly wine pours are limited to five ounces per glass, per person. Each restaurant and bar may offer slightly different amounts of sparkling wine in their mimosa, but don’t expect beyond 5 ounces per glass.
Sadly that means you won’t find a bottomless mimosa brunch in Utah. You might find a Bloody Mary or mimosa bar with unlimited fixings, but alcohol is strictly measured in Utah.
If you want to get creative then, it’s more than fine for a single diner to order a single bottle of sparkling wine and champagne, and order as much OJ as they like… If you’d rather the restaurant take all the hard work out if though, here are some of the best spots for mimosas in Utah:
Avenues Proper – Weekend brunch at this Avenues fine dining brew pub are just $3 a pop.
Bambara – This fine dining brunch spot offers $10 mimosas.
Cucina – Another Avenues chic eatery, this time with a beery twist on the mimosa, using Epic’s Brainless On Peaches brew for a $7 mimosa
Current Fish And Oyster – Taking the DIY path? This elegant seafood lunch and dinner spot has more than two dozen fabulous bubble selections by the bottle.
Oasis Cafe – Brunch is served seven days a week at this downtown institution. Mimosas are priced $6 each.
Lucky 13 – Award winning burger joint with $3 classic mimosa. Raspberry and pineapple $4.
Meditrina – $3 brunch mimosas at this chic small plates hot spot.
Purgatory – fun bar/restaurant with $3.50 classic mimosa or sub grapefruit, mango, cherry, pineapple for $0.50 more.
Ruth’s Diner – $6.75 mimosas at this Emigration Canyon historic landmark
