Here’s the info from the restaurant on the upcoming Andy Lee Wine Dinner set to be held toward the end of October. The meal will comprise six courses, each with an accompanying wine pairing:

“Andy Lee has spent more than 30 years building a career around one of his favorite things: bringing people together through wine. He has worked across all three tiers of the U.S. wine industry, with leadership roles that include Director of Alcohol Beverages for a national retailer, Director of Wine Sales for a Washington/Idaho ] distributor, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at J Vineyards, National Sales Manager at Gamble Family Vineyards, and now Vice President of Brand Development at Quintessential Wines. At Quintessential, Andy has found a natural fit working with multi generational, family-owned wineries from some of the world’s great growing regions. For this dinner, we will enjoy a Chenin Blanc from South Africa, an Alsatian Pinot Blanc, a fun comparison of Cotes du Rhone Blanc and Rouge, an Argentinian Malbec, and an age-worthy blend from Argentina – vintage 2020.

For Andy, wine has always been about more than what is in the glass. “Wine is food, and should be part of your family table,” is a line he shared during a wine dinner he led at Galatoire’s in New Orleans while serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at J Vineyards. That idea continues to shape how he approaches both his work and everyday life. He loves the connection between food, wine, family, and friends, and he continues to learn by cooking, tasting, and sharing memorable meals. Professionally, Andy has also presented seminars twice at national conferences hosted by The Society of Wine Educators, including a session in New Orleans focused on food and wine pairing.”
