Silver Fork Lodge – On Wednesday, June 10th (6:30pm) enjoy a 5-course dinner paired with Wagner Family wines. In 1971 Charlie Wagner and his wife Lorna Belle Glos Wagner started on their journey to start a family vineyard. A year later Caymus Vineyards was born and the Wagners produced their first vintage, consisting of 240 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon. Since then, Caymus vineyards has remained 100% family owned and has focused their efforts in the production of quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Caymus is now a part of the “Wagner Family of Wines” which features other labels and outstanding varietals.

Francis Fecteau of Libations and a representative from Caymus will be on hand to talk about the wines and answer questions. Cost is $85 per person (or $30 without wine).

SLC POP – If you saw chef Katie Weinner on the last season of Top Chef and wanted to check out her skills in person, you’re in luck this June. On June 6th and 20th Weinner’s ephemeral SLC POP will be pitching up up at Red Moose Coffee for dinner. The vibrant spring menu features rhubarb, fresh chickpeas, roses and lamb; with many ingredients harvested from local Frog Bench Farms.

The Red Moose dinners will each showcase a five-course seasonal menu complete with all the ‘bells and whistles’ of the SLC POP experience. Do note, certain dietary restrictions might not be accommodated, so do check with the folks in advance if you have queries. Tickets are priced $75 per person and are available online.

Park City Food & Wine Classic – Now returning for for its eleventh straight year from July 9 to 12, and featuring more than two dozen food and wine tastings, seminars, bike rides, hikes, fishing excursions and more — all led by world-renowned experts. At least five new seminars will join the roster of events for this year classic.

Pedal & Pour

St. Regis Deer Valley, $95

Jump on and clip-in for this unique event combining two of Park City’s top world-class activities: biking and dining. Led by mountain bike enthusiast and executive chef Chip McMullin, the ride will follow Park City and Deer Valley’s premier single-track terrain, with trails available for either expert- or intermediate-level riders. After the ride, enjoy a showcased lunch by Chef Chip at J&G Grill, complemented with wines from Michael David Winery and winemaker Scott Ferry.

Brunch Brunch Baby
Sunday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Salt Lake Culinary Center, $95

The classic comes to a close with this interactive brunch experience. Whether you love to cook – or simply love to eat – brunch is the order of the day and cooking skills are no obstacle. The culinary center’s chef instructors will lead guests through a hands-on cooking experience preparing brioche French toast with fresh berries and mascarpone, baked eggs with spinach, prosciutto and parmigiano-reggiano, and sweet potato-pork belly hash. Special cocktails will be provided by Wine Academy of Utah owner and sommelier James Santangelo.

Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the People’s Health Clinic, a nonprofit that provides healthcare for uninsured individuals and families in Utah’s Summit and Wasatch counties. Last year, the classic raised more than $30,000 for the clinic. In all, Team Player Productions has raised more than $1.4 million for local charities.
