Only twelve years in the making (but goddamnit what the hell is up with some of these popular choice selections)…I present…our very first ever readers choice awards. Your choice to finally set the record straight on the best this and that.
Don’t let me down here. Lets set the record straight once and for all, lets recognize the very best not just the most well known. You’re the smartest, hungriest savviest group I know.
The results will form part of our yearly State Of The Plate article, a meta study of the year that was. So…
Let’s get voting
You can find our readers choice awards here. You’ll be asked to login to Google to complete the process – this ensures we collect only one entry per person to keep things fair. Answer as much or as little as you like, every question is optional.
We won’t collect any personalized data ourselves and you don’t need to complete the survey in one sitting. You can return and continue any time before the survey closes. Voting will close on December 1st 2019. P.s. if you want to share this with other like-minded foodies, you can share the following link:

Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC. I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have written in myopic detail about the Salt Lake City dining scene for the better part of seventeen years.
I’ve worked extensively with multiple local publications from Visit Salt Lake to Salt Lake Magazine, not least helped to consult on national TV. Pause those credits, yep, that’s me! I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’m largely fueled by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration and the use of big words I don’t understand. What they’re saying about me: “Not inaccurate”, “I thought he was older”, “I don’t share his feelings”.
