Taste Of The Wasatch
A quick reminder that there are still just a few tickets left for this Sunday’s Taste Of The Wasatch (Sunday, August 3rd at Solitude). Prices are $90 for general admission and $125 for VIP – that gets you inside the covered pavilion and a guaranteed seat, not to mention early access at 11.30AM. Both entry levels come with six drink tickets (wine, beer and heavy beer) and access to over 50 restaurants, their culinary genius and as much as you can eat therein.

Beehive Distilling formally launch their Jack Rabbit Gin this Saturday (August 2nd) at The State Room. The party features live music by Charles Elsworth and The Blue Bourbon Orchestra (note: be a part of their album which will be recorded live that evening).
The VIP mixer starts at 6PM, cost is $35.00 and includes Jack Rabbit Gin based cocktails and small plates. General admission to the show is at 8PM for $15. Purchase tickets at www.thestateroom.com.

Over at the Avenues Proper, chef Justin Soelberg is prepping for their latest patio dining series dinner. Held on Sunday, August 10th, at 7:30PM – the meal is held on a 20 person communal table, out on the patio. The four course menu is as follows:
* Melon Plate w/ Compressed watermelon, cholula, prosciutto, sliced melon
* Heirloom Tomato Salad w/ Doc Holiday Farms heirloom tomatoes, marinated feta, castelvetrano olives, mizuna, pickled beets
* Cucumber Sorbet Intermezzo
* Grilled Tri Tip w/ Niman Ranch tri tip, carrot top pesto, burst tomatoes, creamless creamed corn & kale, sour cream & chive smashed potatoes
* Grilled Peach Panna Cotta w/ Local peaches, candied pecans, whiskey-peach gelée
Prices are $40 per person for food with an optional beer pairing is $12.
