Layers Cafe is a new restaurant in Ogden Utah. The restaurant's opening press release is as follows:
Showcasing a wide variety of cheesecakes, cookies, and other decadent sweets, Layers is a brand new lunch and dessert cafe inside The Quilted Bear at Newgate Mall in Ogden. With a frequently rotating menu, there is always something new to satisfy any craving. From soups to brownies, from cookies to cheesecakes, everything we serve is fresh and homemade, featuring seasonal and local ingredients.
Layers will be open Monday through Saturday, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM (closed some holidays)
The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration on the 15th at 11:30 AM will feature samples of their most decadent cheesecakes and free refreshments until 4:00 PM.
Layers is led by Executive Chef and General Manager Timothy Snyder, who has cooked and baked his way across the United States, working in kitchens in 11 different states in addition to two stints in Brazil. Most recently, he oversaw the Empire Lodge Bakery at Deer Valley Resort.
