Relatively quiet DABS meeting bookends May

Citizens Cocktails & Kitchen - cocktail at bar

May’s DABS meeting might have sported the shortest list of liquor license applications I’ve seen in all my years of following along. It should be noted that this isn’t for a lack of license inventory; the state is well covered in that regard. Entering the May meeting, the state still had 28 bar licenses available, as well as 60 full-service restaurant licenses. Seven applicants sought the green light during the meeting, with the following seven all approved:

Bar licenses

  • Tannin Bar, Park City
  • The Crooked Cue Sports Bar and Grill, Ogden
  • The Colony Club, Park City

Full-service restaurant licenses (beer, wine, liquor)

  • Coral Cliffs Entertainment Center, Hurricane
  • Culinary Dropout, Salt Lake City
  • Puerto Vallarta Restaurant, Cedar City

Limited-service restaurant licenses (beer, wine)

  • Hidden Peak Provisions, Midway
