Matchstick Bar & Grill is a Chinese restaurant located in West Valley City. The signature dish of the restaurant are a range of kebabs. The kebabs come coated with a modestly spicy gochugaru spice powder – cooked to order, arriving quickly to the table. Extra chili oil is also available on request if you prefer more heat.
From the skewer side of the menu, two of my favorites are the Chinese sausage and lamb belly. Other not to miss dishes at Matchstick include the tin foil tofu and crispy fried chicken skins.
The restaurant holds a liquor license and pours both a range of beers, and wallet friendly cocktails.

The following Matchstick menu is one I photographed when I stopped by in November 2023. The pencil marks you see on the menu are those made by our server, highlighting some of his favorite dishes. The numbers opposite the kebab options indicate how many skewers come per order.
