Wasatch Mountain Table Series – A popular escape from the summer heat returns for the 2016 season next week. Taking place on the lawn at The Inn on July 3rd, July 24th, August 6th and September 4th – each dinner offers a unique experience. The multi-course meals are served al fresco alongside Big Cottonwood Creek and focus on the product of local farmers and ranchers.

“The Wasatch Mountain Table Dinner Series provides one of the most serene, beautiful dining atmospheres you could wish for on a summer night,” said Andrew Fletcher director of food and beverage at Solitude Mountain Resort. “Each event is started with an appetizer reception, then at dusk, our communal table is lit by candlelight, creating a magical ambiance for each course served under the majestic Wasatch Mountains.”

Cost for the Wasatch Mountain Table Dinner Series is $125 for dinner plus wine/beer pairings; dinner is $85 without pairings. The July 3rd theme is Pigs N’ Pinot; – a 5 course porcine focused dinner paired with the wines of Elk Cove Vineyards.

The July 24th theme is Cuisine of the Mountain West, with optional wine pairing from Cinder Winery of Snake River Valley, Idaho. The August 6th event is titled Farmer’s Harvest and the September 4th event, Hops and Hoppers, with the evening beginning with an assortment of Utah’s best beer (optional) and a fly casting clinic.
