Bar licenses

Only two applicants appeared on this month’s docket for a highly coveted bar license; this is notable considering the 12 currently available in the state. The following two names both received their license without fuss:

  • Settlers Lounge, Salt Lake City
  • Fiddler’s, Sugar House

Also noteworthy was the surrendering of liquor licenses by Lupessa, Hallpass, and Neptune’s Palace – all three located in The Gateway. The Trib’s Kolbie Peterson had a little more info on this one after speaking to the DABS spokesperson Michelle Schmitt – you can read that here.

Full-service liquor license (beer, wine, liquor)

57 full-service licenses were available entering the March meeting, with the following seven names all receiving their license:

  • Maria’s Mexican Restaurant, Ogden
  • Los 2 Compadres, Pleasant Grove
  • Ocotillo Prime Lena y Mar, American Fork
  • Baby’s Bagels, Salt Lake City (pictured top)
  • Baan Thai Cuisine & Bar, Riverton
  • Boondock’s Food & Fun, Kaysville
