Frida Bistro Supports The Road Home
During the month of December 2012, Frida Bistro and Pastry Chef, Peter Korth, will donate $1 from every dessert purchased to The Road Home, a private non-profit social services agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front. The Road Home operates the largest homeless shelter in Utah, and offers comprehensive programs that help people transition into permanent housing.
Peter Korth, along with a representative from The Road Home, will join KSL’s Jenn Hardman in-studio the morning of Tuesday November 27th at 6:15AM and 6:45AM to showcase Frida Bistro’s seasonal desserts and promote this fundraiser. Frida Bistro will present the first part of their donation during The Road Home’s annual Holiday Radio-a-Thon on December 20th and 21st, which will be broadcast live on 9 local radio stations.

Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC. I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have written in myopic detail about the Salt Lake City dining scene for the better part of seventeen years.
I’ve worked extensively with multiple local publications from Visit Salt Lake to Salt Lake Magazine, not least helped to consult on national TV. Pause those credits, yep, that’s me! I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’m largely fueled by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration and the use of big words I don’t understand. What they’re saying about me: “Not inaccurate”, “I thought he was older”, “I don’t share his feelings”.
Want to know more? This is why I am the way I am.
