Oquirrh is a New American restaurant in Salt Lake City. The restaurant is a chef driven project owned and operated by Drew Fuller (previously Pago, HSL, Copper Onion) and wife Angelena. The restaurant is named after mountain range, West of SLC. The restaurant moves into the space left vacant by the former downtown Vertical Diner location at 368 E 100 S.
A signature dish of the restaurant is the curry fried lamb shank. A jurassic-esque hunk of lamb, deep fried in Indian spices. The crisp exterior gives way to a fabulously juicy interior. Served with killer naan bread it's must order and especially unique.
