We generate the bulk of our revenue through our Local Partner program. This is typically only open to independent Utah businesses we know, trust and respect. Our main focus is local businesses. We are of course routinely approached by non Utah or chain businesses that want to connect with our readers.
In these instances we do have a modest amount of paid placements available for such businesses, limited to no more than once per month. We charge $250 for a one off placement on the site. This takes the form of an article about a product or business and in turn goes out to our hundreds of email subscribers and RSS followers plus thousands of followers on our social platforms.
Our preferred approach is a giveaway centered around a product or the business. From that starting point we can then talk about the business, product or any main message the advertiser is looking to communicate.
If you’re interested in a paid placement, please email Stuart at email@example.com to discuss further. Please note that we do not cover chain businesses in our editorial copy unless there is a very strong and compelling local link.
Our sponsors and this page
This page may contain information about one of our sponsors. We only work with the very best businesses in the state, and routinely turn down offers to work with businesses we don't enjoy. If we can't hand on heart recommend them - they can't be a sponsor.
At this time we have the following sponosrs: BTG, Caffe Molise, Carson Kitchen, The Dough Miner, Downtown Alliance, Feldman’s Deli, Flanker, Garage On Beck, Hearth And Hill, Hill’s Kitchen, Kin Sen Asian Noodle Bar, Kyoto, LemonShark Poke, Log Haven, Oasis Cafe, Pirate O's Gourmet Market, SLC Eatery, Squatter’s Downtown Salt Lake City, Stoneground Italian Kitchen, Urban Hill, Wasatch Brew Pub Sugar House, Whiskey Street, White Horse.
I encourage you to Google any of our sponsors and see the stellar reviews on multiple sites that they enjoy. For a list of all our current and past relationships see our partnership history page.
