Solitude Mountain Resort invites local food lovers to indulge their senses at the annual ‘Pigs & Pinot’ Wasatch Mountain Table Dinner on Saturday, August 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests will savor a wide range of exquisitely prepared cuisine and linger over glasses of fine wine served al fresco in Big Cottonwood Canyon’s unique and intimate mountainside setting.
“Our ‘Pigs & Pinot’ event is a highlight of summer in the mountains for our Solitude family,” says Solitude Mountain Resort Director of Food & Beverage Andrew Fletcher. “We love that we can create a complete, personalized experience – encompassing the food, the wine, and the breathtaking views – for each of our guests.”
The evening will begin with an appetizer reception, followed by a decadent five-course dinner with a focus on pork dishes and locally sourced ingredients. An optional wine pairing will be available showcasing French Burgundies from Maison Louis Jadot and California pinots from Domiane Carneros and Cake Bread Cellars. The event takes place at communal “Mountain Tables” alongside the picturesque Big Cottonwood Creek, situated against the backdrop of the majestic Wasatch Mountains.
Tickets for dinner are $90 per person, and optional wine pairings are $40 per person. With only 46 place settings, guests are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible. To make a reservation, email email@example.com or call 801-536-5765.
