tupelo Park City, with its acclaimed globally inspired, artisan-sourced fare, is partnering with Duckhorn Vineyards of Napa Valley to present an indulgent four-course dining event. Held Thursday, March 22 at 6:30pm, the exclusive diner will feature a carefully crafted menu paired with six distinctive wines, including the 2014 Napa Valley Merlot Three Palms Vineyard – rated #1 wine of 2017 by Wine Spectator.
Founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has been crafting classic Napa Valley wines for nearly 40 years. From its inaugural vintage of 800 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon and 800 cases of Merlot in 1978 to its addition of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, Duckhorn Vineyards has crafted a tradition of quality and excellence that continues today.
The evening’s first course features Ash Aged Goat Cheese, Miners Lettuce, Green Apple, Lavender Black Pepper Cracker with a 2015 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Second course consists of Maine Crab Croquette, Snap Pea, Mint, Lime Dust and Pea Shoots paired with a 2015 Decoy Sonoma County Chardonnay. Third course is Niman Ranch Porchetta, Sage, Creamy Polenta and Charred Broccoli Rabe with a duo of 2015 Migration Russian River Pinot Noir and 2015 Goldeneye Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. Fourth course features BBQ Desert Mountain Beef Shoulder, Green Strawberries and Coffee Ancho Baked Beans and a duo of 2015 Napa Valley Merlot and 2014 Napa Valley Merlot Three Palms Vineyard (#1 Wine of 2017). Whiskey Truffles and Macarons finish the evening.
