The lists below round up Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years eve. Towards the end of the article, I’ve also included items for celebrating at home – as well as some other fun holiday events (with a food or drink bent) that are happening over the coming weeks.
The lists below only include specials. Many restaurants will be open with their regular menus during the holidays – check directly with your favorite spot to confirm their plans. All info and notes below are provided directly by restaurants or their PR teams. Lastly – bookmark this page and keep checking back. Park City. Christmas Eve dinner to go, serves eight guests, $345. Pickup December 24th, 10.00 a.m. – 2.30 p.m. Meal includes Niman Ranch rib roast, fennel and herb crusted salmon, glazed beet and Treviso salad, Alpine Swiss and gruyere potato au gratin, haricot vert almondine and dried cranberry, roasted fennel and winter squash.
Optional sides priced extra include roasted butternut squash mac and cheese ($46), cheddar biscuits $32), honey roasted caraway carrots ($42), two dozen pancetta deviled eggs ($20), and Caesar salad ($40).
Vessel Kitchen
Various locations. Vessel’s annual ‘Everything but the Ham‘ holiday bundles are back and better than ever. The ‘Everything but the Ham’ bundle is just like it sounds, you provide the ham, and / Vessel will provide the rest – an array of scratch-made holiday favorites to pair perfectly with the main dish. Plus, this year they are expanding the availability of pick up, for everyone that celebrates more than once or on a different day. Their holiday items will be available from Friday, December 20th – Tuesday, December 24th this year. The deadline to order is Sunday, December 22.
- Standard bundle – choice of two winter market sides, glazed winter root vegetables, fennel and onion gratin, green bean almondine, honey brioche pull apart rolls, choice of one scratch-made sauce & one holiday dessert.
- Gluteb-free bundle – choice of two winter market sides, glazed winter root vegetables, fennel & onion gratin, green bean almondine, gluten free biscuits, choice of one scratch-made sauce & pear cranberry crisp.

Windy Ridge Cafe
Park City. Enjoy a complete holiday meal for 4 to go, featuring maple glazed ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes with candied pecans and marshmallows, mixed greens salad, and dinner rolls. A la carte sides are also available. Place orders online by Monday, 16th at 9.00 p.m. for pick up on Tuesday, 24th by 6.00 p.m.
General festive food and drink options
Flanagan’s on Main
Park City. December 23rd through 29th. Enjoy a traditional 3-course Thanksgiving feast – for Christmas! Start with butternut squash leek soup or honey crisp salad, followed by turkey and homemade mashers, brown gravy, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce. Save room for bourbon bread pudding served with vanilla ice cream. The Christmas menu will be available December 23rd through 29th for $50 per person. The regular menu will also be available.
Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club
Downtown SLC. The massively popular Christmas parlor (pictured top in 2023) is back again for the season at this Gateway bar. This week sees the grand unveiling of the latest refresh for the curated cocktail bar. It’s guaranteed to be the most eye-popping yet. Do note that last year The Christmas Parlor was sold out throughout the holiday season so reservations are highly recommended to avoid missing out.
This year’s theme will feature holiday pop-culture references along with interactive Santa’s workshop decor. The immersive, magical holiday parlor will be the hot spot for Utahns to sip festive holiday cocktails, visit with friends, and even enjoy a live DJ on select evenings.
The new special menu of holiday cocktails is created by mixologist and Carver Road Hospitality VP of Beverage, Francesco Lafranconi. The newly-curated cocktail menu features playful tributes to holiday moments, including the decadent Nakatomi Office party, a creamy peppermint blend garnished with a festive candy cane, and Clark’s holiday shenanigans, a rich, twist on traditional eggnog. “Each cocktail comes with a unique, festive cocktail glass and garnishes that punctuate the holiday atmosphere,” says Lafanconi.
The holiday dining menu at A Christmas Parlor features nostalgic comfort food. Highlights include Little Neros cheese pizza, crafted with traditional red sauce and premium mozzarella, festive jumbo holiday wings glazed in cranberry chili sauce, and roasted turkey sliders complemented by cherry-bourbon jam and rosemary au jus.
Kona Grill
Riverton. Kona Grill is in the spirit and will be offering its Holiday Cheers seasonal menu! Guests can drink and be merry with specialty cocktails ($16) including:
- Santa’s Egg Nog made with Mount Gay Eclipse rum, egg nog, Licor 43 horchata and nutmeg
- Catch Me If You Can made with Maker’s Mark bourbon, gingerbread syrup, and Grand Marnier garnished with a cinnamon stick
- The Holiday Martini made with New Amsterdam vodka, peppermint bark RumChata, Owen’s nitro-infused espresso, and Licor 43 garnished with a mini candy cane
Mar | Muntanya
Downtown SLC. Embrace the season in style with a luxurious brunch in one of Mar | Muntanya’s exclusive Alpen Globes. These cozy, climate-controlled domes are adorned with holiday decorations, providing a magical setting to dine with a panoramic view of the winter cityscape. A family-style brunch spread that combines hearty Spanish breakfast staples and gourmet touches:
- Jumbo shrimp coctel
- A lavish Boos Block featuring French toast, buttermilk pancakes, pearl sugar waffles, Niman Ranch bacon, local sausage, roasted asparagus, scrambled farm eggs, breakfast potatoes, fresh berries, maple syrup & vanilla whipped cream

Remora @ The Ruin
Downtown SLC. The Remora team are taking over The Ruin. Open Tuesday – Sunday from 4.00 pm – through Christmas. Follow along with their plans via Instagram. Spencer’s For Steak & Chops
Downtown SLC. The Spencer’s team has launched their next cocktail series – titled “Let It Snow! Cocktail Series”. Options include:
- Mistletoe – a holiday margarita featuring cinnamon, cranberry, and a hint of spice
- Cookies For Santa – a martini blend with a Christmas cookie flavor in every sip
- Fireside Stories – featuring a smoky twist on a classic mule with High West Campfire Whiskey
- Lump of Coal – with Fireball whiskey, a dash of cinnamon, and topped with a caramel drizzle

NYE @ The Gateway
The official downtown Salt Lake City New Year’s Eve community celebration returns to The Gateway to ring in 2025 on Tuesday, December 31, 8:00 p.m. to Midnight. Last Hurrah 2024! Presented in partnership with Downtown Alliance, welcomes guests of all ages to this free and festive event. Featuring buskers, pop-up bars, and live performances by Juniper Honey and headliner Indigo Waves on the Olympic Plaza stage, Utah’s largest countdown to the New Year is not to be missed. Draft beer, wine, hot cocktails, and hot chocolate will be served in the main plaza. Gateway merchants will also be open late during the event serving up food, drinks, and good times.
The evening culminates with a countdown to Downtown Salt Lake City’s only New Year’s Eve fireworks show that will ring in the New Year at midnight. Business open and hourse are as follows:
